Tebogo Koena is a brand builder who has been in the advertising space for eight years. He writes here in his personal capacity.

His experience stretches across automotive brands (Mercedes-Benz and FIAT) right through to the FMCG sector (Coca-Cola, Philip Morris and Plascon, among others). He used to work at The Jupiter Drawing Room (Johannesburg).

It's his understanding of the local consumer market that landed him the most sought-after role as a strategist for Coca-Cola's 2010 FIFA World Cup campaign.

Tebogo is also a budding writer and commentator: he was recently interviewed on the eNews Channel's - The Edition, a show on media, pop-culture and current affairs, and has also written articles for kush.co.za.
