Hamish Pringle is an expert in the development and stewardship of corporate, product, and service brands. After 10 years in the role he stepped down as Director General of the UK-based Institute of Practitioners of Advertising (IPA) in July 2011 and returned to consultancy work. In March 2012 he formed Pringle and Pringle LLP. He was appointed to the Board and Council of the Advertising Standards Authority http://www.asa.org.uk in April 2011. In September he was appointed Strategic Advisor to integrated creative agency 23red www.23red.com.
During his 26-year agency career Hamish worked at 10 UK agencies for more than thirty companies on over 50 brands, so there are very few market sectors of which he doesn't have direct personal experience. Thus he's able to respond to a client brief from a position well up the 'learning curve'.
