Print is my first love, but I'm open to digital. Keepin' it current. And here's what I read today:
Tech-users spent an average of 36 hours per week in front of a screen this year. Information Overload is a real thing. While knowledge is power, information can be suffocating in heavy doses. I, like most others, have a broadband connection, use instant messaging hourly (and sometimes, regrettably, at the dinner table) and, being accustomed to the quick fixes of online media, find my concentration span stretched to its limit when reading off my laptop screen.
My goals are pretty standard, I suppose. Find a job. Get it done. Find time to see some of the world. It's pretty tough with all this information and statistics and academia flying at you from every media source imaginable. That's why I believe in common sense over PHDs.
