Within a year of its launch, the site experienced some navigational challenges that were hindering its explosive e-commerce potential. The So Interactive Digital Team began with understanding the blueprints of the 24hoursonly brand. They adopted the creative challenge of combining right-brain design with left-brain customer acquisition and ultimate retention.
"It was important for us to practice extreme sensitivity with a site of this nature," says Darren Mansour, Managing Member of So Interactive Digital Media Creations. "We were required to drastically revamp the site without tampering with the business vision of the brand. This was no doubt a delicate task but the SO Team managed to create a digital platform where the new look of the site could co-exist symbiotically with the e-commerce functionality and overall brand vision," explains Mansour.
Together with their e-commerce development partners, Mansour and his design soldiers took to the frontline and carefully strategised the "what's", "how's" and "how to's" of creating a polished user experience. This was particularly necessary for what appeared to be a demanding e-commerce development that required a seamless A-Z purchasing experience for the online customer.
"Creating an engaging user experience was our main priority, allowing customers to enter a fluid purchasing environment that would get them what they wanted, when they wanted it, and all in record-click timing," says Mansour.
