Service Manager
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to take on the role of service manager at their commercial dealership.
Primary responsibilities:- Lead a team of proficient technicians and service advisors to provide exceptional automotive services.
- Cultivate a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality vehicle maintenance and repair services, exceeding customer expectations.
- Pursue continuous improvement in service efficiency and effectiveness.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with customers.
- Promptly address concerns, ensuring a positive and memorable service experience.
- Stay informed about industry trends and technological advancements.
- Implement innovative solutions to enhance service operations.
- Monitor and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to service department efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
- Efficiently manage resources, including personnel, equipment, and inventory, to optimise service operations.
Qualifications:- A minimum of five years' experience as a commercial service manager.
- Must have dealership experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
- Strong understanding of automotive systems and repair processes.
- Dedication to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in analysing and resolving complex issues efficiently.
- Effective planning and organisational abilities.
- Ability to maintain OEM standards.
- Willingness to work long hours.
- Must be a go-getter.
- FAV, power station, and DVF experience will be advantageous.
