Our client is seeking a reliable and experienced carrier truck driver to join their team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of safe driving, excellent customer service skills, and a dedication to maintaining vehicle and cargo integrity.
Key responsibilities:- Safely operate carrier trucks to transport goods to various destinations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securement.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and reports.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.
Requirements:- Valid commercial driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items as required.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
