The regional operations manager at Tradeway Promotions will be a dynamic leader responsible for overseeing the operational excellence within the EC region. This role requires a hands-on approach, with a portion of work conducted in-field, not just from an office. The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing and developing the team within the region.

Experience in managing teams within the activations and events industry is essential. We are looking for a team player looking to be part of a team heading for excellence!

Key responsibilities:
  • Customer service engagement: Ensure absolute clarity on client commitments, participate in meetings if relevant, and oversee all project kickstarts.
  • Project management: Conduct detailed project quality control 
  • In-field work: Manage teams and operations on the ground, including supervision within the team
  • Trafficking: Oversee the movement and logistics of promotional materials and teams.
  • Human resources and planning: Handle recruitment, discipline, and resource planning. Manage the weekend duty rotation and  comfort Days to ensure team well-being.
  • Execution specialist pride and retention program: Develop and manage a program aimed at retaining and nurturing Execution Specialists.
  • Execution specialist metrics and incentive program: Oversee the management and implementation of the incentive program for Execution Specialists.
  • Payroll accountability: Ensure Brand Ambassadors are compensated accurately and on time.
  • Workplace health representative: Manage health and safety within the Silo.
  • Interdepartmental coordination: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
Should be flexible to work on weekends and long hours when required

Technical knowledge:
  • Ability to read and understand a campaign brief and meet the requirements.
  • Reading and understanding of budgets.
  • Driving operational execution via use of Business Management System.
  • MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email
 Theoretical knowledge:
  • Key understanding of implementing operational processes and driving execution.
  • Financial acumen – understanding of margin management.
  • Understanding of efficient people management.
  • Understanding of organisational behaviour principles.
  • Excellent client management capability.
