Are you a results-driven sales professional with a passion for the insurance industry? Do you have extensive experience in commercial, transport, and personal lines? We are looking for a commercial insurance sales executive to join our team in our George offices and help us drive new business while maintaining strong client relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential clients, presenting tailored insurance solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships to ensure client retention and satisfaction.
- Manage complete and accurate policy administration and documentation.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, products, and providers.
- Deliver excellent service in line with Treating the Customer Fairly (TCF) principles.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and policy requirement analysis.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive business growth through networking, referrals, and proactive sales efforts.
What we’re looking for
Education and training
- Short-term insurance qualification
- RE5 certification
- Product-specific training
- Class of business – commercial and personal lines
- CPD hours compliance in the current cycle
Experience
- Minimum of eight years in the insurance industry, with at least five years engaging with commercial, transport, and personal lines clients.
Core competencies
- Strong sales and marketing acumen
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Attention to detail with high-level administrative proficiency
- Ability to analyse client needs and provide suitable solutions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Comprehensive knowledge of insurance products and providers
- Understanding of the broader insurance industry landscape
- Must have own reliable transportation to facilitate travel requirements
