Sales Representative

Our client in George is looking for a sales representative to join their team.

Requirements:

• Problem-solving ability and strong negotiating skills.
• Team player.
• Prior experience in the cleaning and chemical fields would be beneficial.
• Prior experience with MS Office.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• A tertiary qualification would be beneficial.
• Two or more years of prior experience in sales.
• Must have a valid driver’s licence – non-negotiable.

Responsibilities:

• Sourcing leads and converting them into closed sales deals.
• Quoting and tendering for business opportunities.
• Forming a dynamic business relationship with existing and new customers.
• Maintaining a regular call cycle with clients.
• Acquiring new customers and securing new business.
• Meeting client deadlines.
• Compiling and submitting reports according to pre-determined deadlines.
• Meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Demonstrating products and equipment.
• Ensuring positive client feedback in customer satisfaction surveys.
• Maintaining sound administrative practices, including reports.
