Vet Practice Business Development Consultant

We are looking for a young, energetic individual eager to grow and become one of Dotsure’s success stories in the vet practice space.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it:

Build a commercial vet practice insurance base across South Africa by:

  • Prospecting for new vets through face-to-face appointments at vet practices.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with our specialist pet insurance business development team to obtain leads.
  • Conducting a business insurance needs analysis for each vet practice.
  • Offering vet practices the specialist Dotsure Vetsure product.
  • Managing calls, appointments, quotes, and policy targets as set by management.
  • Continuously prospecting to keep your sales pipeline full.
  • Meeting targets set by management.
  • Focusing on continuous self-development.
  • Keeping reports up to date and accurate.

Education, experience, and other requirements:

  • Fluent in English with a minimum of a matric certificate.
  • A motivated self-starter with at least one year of sales experience (insurance experience is a plus but not mandatory).
  • Willingness to travel out of town to meet with various vet practices across the country.
  • Organised, with excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Goal-driven, accountable, and able to work independently while thriving in a team environment.
  • A valid driver’s licence with access to your own transport.
  • A demonstrable track record of sales success.
