Location: Aerial Cableway Hartbeespoort
Reports to: Restaurant Manager

Qualifications and skills

Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:

• Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent
• Literate – must be able to speak, read and write English
• 1 to 2 years of experience
• Cuisine POS experience will be an added advantage
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Adaptability to different working areas and conditions
• Good time management skills
• Computer literacy skills in MS Office
• Stable behaviour and sober habits
• Must be willing to work shifts
• Must have own accommodation & transport

Responsibilities

The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Clean designated areas in accordance with laid-down procedures and hygiene requirements
• Collect payments by accepting cards only and charge payments from customers
• Ensure that damaged items are reported to the manager
• Serve food and beverage (whether alcoholic or non-alcoholic) in accordance with Harties Cableway standards, with courtesy and professionalism
• Take orders and ensure that they are captured correctly on the POS system. Follow up with the kitchen to ensure timely delivery to customers
• Clean tables and ensure that they are clean as soon as the customer finishes eating while allowing the customer time to finish without feeling rushed
