We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled IT support technician with at least two years of experience in IT support and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance, resolve IT issues, and support hardware, software, and network systems to ensure smooth business operations.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide first-line IT support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT peripherals
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows/macOS operating systems and common business applications
- Assist with basic network troubleshooting, including internet connectivity and LAN/Wi-Fi issues
- Manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions using Active Directory (or relevant system)
- Ensure security measures, such as antivirus updates and data backups, are implemented
- Document technical issues, solutions, and processes in an IT helpdesk system
- Collaborate with senior IT staff for complex technical problems and system upgrades
Requirements:
- Two or more years of experience in an IT support or helpdesk role
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office 365, and basic networking
- Experience with Active Directory, remote desktop tools, and ticketing systems is a plus
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- A+ and/or N+ certification preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Diploma or certification in IT, computer science, or a related field (preferred)
Preferred skills and attributes:
- Experience with IT asset management and documentation
- Basic understanding of cloud services (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Google Workspace)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach
