Job purpose
As a business analyst in the online sales space within our innovation department, you’ll be the driving force behind optimising our digital sales platforms. Your mission is to turn data into action. By analysing data, enhancing sales funnels, and aligning digital efforts with the company’s strategic goals, you’ll collaborate across teams to develop smart, scalable solutions that boost customer experiences and drive conversion success.
Key responsibilities
Data analysis and reporting
- Identify key metrics to track online sales performance.
- Develop and implement clear, actionable reports for stakeholders that align with strategic goals.
Sales funnel optimisation
- Analyse the digital sales funnel and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the digital marketing and development teams to optimise conversion rates and customer acquisition efforts.
Digital strategy development
- Refine the digital sales strategy.
- Make data-driven recommendations to align customer experience with business objectives and market trends.
Project leadership
- Lead digital sales projects from concept to completion.
- Ensure timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
- Collaborate with developers, marketing, and stakeholders for smooth execution.
Customer journey enhancement
- Work with customer experience teams to streamline the online sales journey.
- Ensure a seamless, user-friendly experience across all digital touchpoints.
Innovation and technology integration
- Stay updated on digital trends.
- Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
Skills and experience
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, or a related field.
Experience
- Three or more years in a business analyst role, focusing on digital sales or e-commerce.
- Proven experience in data-driven decision-making and digital strategy development.
Technical skills
- Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g. Excel, Power BI) and CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot).
- Strong grasp of digital sales strategies, UX, and customer journey optimisation.
Communication and leadership
- Ability to turn complex data into simple, actionable insights.
- Leadership skills with a proven track record of managing projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
