As a solutions analyst at dotsure.co.za, you’ll be part of our Digital Transformation team, helping us find and implement cutting-edge software solutions to improve our business operations. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving, has an eye for detail, and loves learning about new tech tools and how they can make a real impact. 


In this role, you’ll work with different teams across the company, from sales to customer service, to understand their needs and challenges. You’ll then research potential software solutions, evaluate how well they meet our requirements, and help ensure a smooth implementation. It’s not about developing the technology yourself—it’s about finding the best tools out there and working with our internal teams to make them fit seamlessly into our environment. 


A typical day could involve meeting with business units to discuss their goals, comparing software options, documenting your findings, and collaborating with our IT and software teams to make sure the chosen solutions align with our digital transformation objectives. Your work will directly contribute to smarter business decisions, improved processes, and a more innovative company culture. 

Responsibilities: 
  • Identify business needs: Partner with various teams to understand their goals and challenges, ensuring that new technology solutions align with our company objectives.
  • Analyse needs and solutions: Dive into current business processes and systems, identifying areas where technology can make a difference by increasing efficiency and solving specific pain points.
  • Research and recommend technology solutions: Explore, evaluate, and recommend third-party software options that fit our needs. You’ll assess factors like scalability, ease of integration, and long-term viability.
  • Document requirements: Gather, organise, and clearly document business needs and translate them into technical requirements, making sure everyone is on the same page.
  • Translate business needs into technical solutions: Work closely with the tech teams to ensure that the software solutions address our business goals effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Coordinate with teams across the business—including IT, Data & AI, and Operations—to make sure solutions are implemented smoothly and effectively.
  • Report on project progress: Provide regular updates to stakeholders on the progress of ongoing projects, highlighting any challenges and successes
Requirements:
  • Educational background: Industrial Engineering/ Data Science/  Computer Science/ BComm or a related field.
  • Experience level: 1-3 years of experience in a role involving technology evaluation, business analysis, or digital transformation—preferably within a tech-driven or innovation-focused environment.
  • Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical teams.
  • Team player: Strong interpersonal skills for engaging with stakeholders at all levels and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Analytical mindset: A knack for problem-solving, with the ability to look at business processes and figure out how to make them better with the right technology.
  • Organised and detail-oriented: The ability to manage multiple tasks, stay organized, and maintain attention to detail, especially when documenting requirements or reporting to stakeholders.
  • Tech-savvy: Comfortable researching, understanding, and evaluating different software tools and technology trends

Position will be office based
