Accountant
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented accountant with a strong audit background and proven experience managing multiple sets of books.
This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can handle the complexity of multi-company financial reporting.
Key responsibilities- Manage and maintain the financial records for multiple companies
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Perform reconciliations of accounts, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, standards, and tax requirements
- Provide insightful financial analysis to support decision-making
- Liaise with external auditors and ensure audit readiness
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Handle VAT returns, payroll processing, and other statutory reporting
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Minimum of three years of accounting experience
- Strong audit background (must have worked in an audit firm)
- Proven experience managing multiple sets of books
- Accounting till the balance sheet
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Sage)
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
