A fantastic opportunity is available for a
Quantitative Business Analyst to design, specify, build, configure, and test solutions that enable high-quality, client-focused capabilities for the business. The successful candidate will have a strong background in constructing and critically analysing financial models, including product pricing, curve stripping, and scenario analysis.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as mathematics, statistics, or computer science.
- Four to seven years of commercial experience.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or Perl.
- Expertise in quantitative analysis, business analysis, and data analysis.
Key responsibilities- Engage in process design, analysis, testing, and troubleshooting in pricing and risk analysis.
- Analyse system capabilities and fit for pricing or risk-analysis solutions.
- Analyse data, identify problems and drive logical and valid conclusions.
- Design and implement in-house or purchased software applications.
- Test and validate implemented logic and processes.
- Take ownership of recurring production incidents by collaborating with multiple stakeholders to resolve system issues.
- Identify and explore macro-environment trends, opportunities, and capabilities that add value to analysis work.
- Recommend and implement process and system improvements.
- Participate in cross-disciplinary collaboration sessions to enhance understanding of the working environment.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather insights on business developments and their technological impact.
