- All major players, Google included, are betting on strong development of advertising expenditures in the mobile web and application environments. But how do you sell and include advertising on this new media? This question is at the centre of presentations by Marc Lamarche, head of mobile media, Edipresse Publications SA, and Florian Gmeinwieser, MD, Plan.Net Media GmbH & Co. KG, Germany.
- Philip Sugai, professor of marketing and director of the Mobile Consumer Lab at the International University of Japan, will provide direction on what the industry should focus on in coming months. Sugai, author of Six Immutable Laws of Mobile Business, will be joined by Thomas Hvidt, head of mobile, JP/Politikens Hus Media Group in Denmark, a pioneer and leader in its market, who will also share his vision on what the next moves should be.
- Some established companies and start-ups are facilitating the creation and launch of innovative mobile services within publishing companies. Their experience and understanding of the trends, as well as their dedication to the success of the publishing industry, will be shared with participants.
