Samsung unveils environmental research centre
Electronic appliance and mobile phone manufacturer Samsung has established the “Samsung Global Environment Research Centre“, in an effort to promote business practices that will save the environment and improve the quality of human life.
Says Kun-Hee Lee, chairman of Samsung Electronics Co, Ltd: “The keywords for the future of energy are clean and effective. This means that, on the supply side, we need to develop alternative energy, which is clean and can replace current fossil fuel energy.”
Samsung Global Environment Research Centre was established to conduct environmental research and drive environmental policies across the organisation.
