iHomeless: Brilliant concept or pipedream?

The term "digital divide" is often bandied about in Africa as we furiously attempt to create useful technologies that can help developing nations and their populace leapfrog into the 21st century.

The reason we so fervently pursue the narrowing of the digital divide is because we acknowledge the power of modern technology to enhance people's lives in a variety of ways, not least providing them with actual digital tools to better their lives.

Two advertising students, Fran Guijarro and Daniel Pradilla from San Francisco, California, have however noticed that there is a significant amount of the population being left behind - the homeless.

In a YouTube video entitled "iHomeless", Guijarro and Pradilla have proposed a very creative and novel concept using modern technology to assist homeless people in bettering their situation.
