Senior Java GOLANG Technical Consultant

Looking to work for one of the leading Banks that offers their client leading services and growth currently in search of a Senior Java GOLANG experienced Technical Consultant to join this fast-paced environment.

You will be in charge of creating a competitive advantage by consulting and providing advice on systems, processes, frameworks and products in line with the company strategy.

Requirements:

• Relevant technical qualification/ certification or equivalent experience
• BSc or BComm preferably in Comp Sci or Information Systems, four-year EDP Diploma
• 10+ years’ experience as a software developer within the Java-specific space
• Five+ years’ experience as a multi-discipline specialist
• Passionate about GOLANG development
• Some commercial GOLANG experience
• Conversions, large system implementation, critical (no downtime) systems. Large projects, working under pressure, negotiation skills.
• Analysis and design, test strategy, migrations between systems, testing tools (development and usage), debugging and problem analysis
• Agile and DevOps exposure
• Project management and technical team leadership
• Technical thought leadership: the ability to provide innovative ideas and guide others in the organisation
• Problem-solving: the ability to identify, analyze, and solve complex problems, pro-active
• Communication: effective communication skills are essential for understanding client needs and conveying technical information to non-technical stakeholders
• Able to handle stress, strategic thinking, listening skills, patience, multi-tasking, self-teacher, adaptable and versatile

Reference number for this position is GZ59130 which is a permanent position based in Sandton offering a hybrid working environment and a cost-to-company salary of between R1.4m and R1.6m per annum negotiable on experience and ability.
