      Operations Lead – Marketing and Events

      We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Lead to manage and oversee our operations team, ensuring seamless execution of marketing and event initiatives. The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing operational processes, delivering exceptional events, and driving strategic growth through meticulous planning and execution.

      Key responsibilities:
      • Lead, mentor, and manage the operations team, ensuring efficiency, motivation, and performance excellence.
      • Oversee the end-to-end planning and execution of events, ensuring flawless implementation and client satisfaction.
      • Prepare detailed event budgets, manage cost control measures, and maintain financial accountability.
      • Develop comprehensive post-event reports analysing success metrics, attendee feedback, and key learnings to continually improve future events.
      • Obtain client briefs, clearly interpreting requirements and objectives to develop innovative, tailored proposals.
      • Collaborate closely with sales, creative, and production teams to ensure alignment and consistency across event deliverables.
      • Implement and optimise operational systems and processes to improve productivity and streamline event planning and execution.
      • Negotiate and manage supplier relationships, ensuring quality service delivery and competitive pricing.
      • Act as a key point of escalation during events, proactively troubleshooting and managing unforeseen challenges to ensure smooth event execution.
      • Regularly communicate project status, risks, and solutions with stakeholders and senior management.
      Qualifications and experience:
      • Minimum of five years' experience in event management and operations, with at least two years in a supervisory or managerial role.
      • Proven track record of successfully planning and executing large-scale events.
      • Strong budgeting, financial management, and negotiation skills.
      • Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership abilities.
      • Ability to multitask effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
      • Proficiency with event management software and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
