You will play a crucial role in building and enhancing their cloud-based platform.
Responsibilities:
- Present data on dashboards and visualisations using Power BI
- Comply with data governance requirements, including documenting data definitions and business glossaries
- Deliver a client project within the financial sector
- Build data systems and pipelines
- Evaluate business needs and objectives
- Interpret trends and patterns
- Conduct complex data analysis and report on results
- Prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modelling
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
- Three or more years of experience
- Proficient in data pipelines, ETLs, data warehouses, and more
- Working knowledge of relational and non-relational databases
- Familiarity with REST APIs
- SQL
- AWS/Azure
- Power BI
- Ab Initio
The reference number for this position is NG59683, which is a contract, hybrid position based in Johannesburg, offering between R500,000 and R800,000 per hour, negotiable based on experience and ability.
