BI Developer

Are you a tech-savvy problem solver with a knack for data, and always ready to bring data to life and drive business insights? Our client is looking for a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to design and develop innovative reports, maintain their data warehouse, and support data-driven decision-making across our organisation.

Responsibilities:

• Create new reports using Web Intelligence and Crystal Reports.
• Modify and enhance reports based on user requirements.
• Write and optimise queries and stored procedures in Netezza SQL.
• Perform ETL development and maintenance in IBM DataStage.
• Extract and groom data from DWH databases.

Qualifications and experience:

• IT Degree/Diploma/Microsoft/Cloud Certifications.
• Five+ years in BI (SSIS, SSRS), Data Warehousing (Kimball Methodology), Cube Development (SSAS, MDX)
• Strong SQL and reporting skills.
• Experience with ETL tools, especially IBM DataStage.
• Excellent communication for liaising with internal teams and managers.
• A detail-oriented professional who thrives under general supervision.
• Collaborate with dynamic teams in a data-driven environment.
• Office-based role

The reference number for this position is NG60010 which is a Permanent On-site role based in Constantia Kloof, Johannesburg offering a cost to company of R520,000 to R720,000 per annum negotiable on experience and ability.
