A consultancy specialising in AI and applications, with a primary focus on helping enterprise clients extract business value by implementing AI solutions and maximising return on investment, is recruiting for a data scientist. The successful candidate will provide deep insight into compliance and IT methodology processes while contributing to the success and sustainability of the group.
Responsibilities
Cloud management
- Oversee cloud computing technologies and emerging computing trends.
- Manage coordination between development and support environments.
- Translate and simplify requirements for implementation.
- Apply DevOps experience to streamline processes.
- Manage projects and processes effectively.
- Develop solutions using a specific programming language.
- Utilise software development tools, techniques, and approaches to build application solutions.
- Apply expertise in NLP methods and customised NLU models.
- Integrate NLP/NLU technologies into business applications.
- Assist in the development of business cases.
- Experience with the MSFT Bot Framework and Virtual Assistant is advantageous.
- BSc Honours in Statistics, Informatics, Computer Science, or B.Eng. (Computer Science).
- Strong background in mathematics with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Agile Working Model (AWM) responsibilities.
- Programming languages: C#, Python, SQL, PL/SQL.
- Web technologies: HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML.
- AI and data science: R, Python, SKLearn, PySpark.
- Cloud platforms: MS Azure.
- Development tools: ATC Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket, GitHub.
