Top print/packaging manufacturing company is looking for an internal operations assistant to join the team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following (among other duties):
  • Assisting the operations manager when required (calls, meeting minutes)
  • Assisting internal account manager (taking calls and dealing with queries, capturing and submitting finished goods, ensuring quantities and prices are correct on the ERP system)
  • Processing customer information (placing restock orders, monitoring delivery dates, debtors reconciliation, visiting suppliers, assisting with estimating)
  • Preparing month-end reports, preparing sales reports, maintaining customer database, and managing general queries
Requirements
  • Matric
  • Tertiary qualification
  • Minimum three to five years' experience in an internal sales function within the manufacturing sector (ideally print/packaging)
  • Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Experience working with an ERP system
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
  • Ability to create reports and tables
