Junior Safety Officer – End of May Start | Dubai, UAEWe are hiring for a leading construction contracting company in Dubai, committed to the safety and well-being of its workforce. They are looking for a qualified Junior Safety Officer to join their Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) team by the end of May.

About the Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Safety Officer to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry. The successful candidate will assist senior HSE professionals in maintaining safety compliance on active job sites, supporting the implementation of safety protocols, conducting inspections, and helping ensure that all operations align with health and safety regulations in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting regular site safety inspections and audits
• Support the implementation of health and safety procedures on site
• Report unsafe conditions, accidents, or incidents and assist in investigations
• Ensure workers are following safety protocols and wearing protective equipment
• Assist in preparing safety documentation, reports, and incident logs
• Deliver basic safety training sessions and toolbox talks
• Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Certified as a Safety Officer (NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent)
• Some experience or internship in construction site safety is preferred
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in the UAE construction industry
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations
