We are currently in search of a Mid-level Python JavaScript Developer with at least four years’ commercial experience working with Python, JavaScript, Serverless Products and AWS

You need to be able to demonstrate expert knowledge and management of a mission-critical, 24x7 production system.

Requirements:

• Four+ years of experience
• Python, JavaScript, AWS essential
• Comps Sci degree from UCT / Stel / Wits / UP
• Four or more years of software engineering experience with commercially successful systems in fintech, payments, banking, messaging, credit, e-commerce or logistics
• Recent experience in architecture and technical leadership of projects within these industries
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills, to identify and troubleshoot system and integration challenges
• Excellent leadership, communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams
• Infrastructure as code: Terraform or Cloudformation
• Python, Javascript

Reference number for this position is GZ59727 which is a permanent position based in Cape Town/Hybrid offering a cost-to-company salary of R650,000 to R800,000 per annum negotiable on experience and ability.
