A well-established Crypto Trading house and Fintech, based in Cape Town; They are on the hunt for a technically-savvy PHP Developer with skills in Python and a keen understanding or experience in financial markets, particularly FX and cryptocurrency markets. This role requires a strong focus on both development and cybersecurity to ensure the platform's robustness against associated risks.

By nature, we are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Software Developer who is eager to learn from seasoned professionals in the Blockchain space; while adapting to new technologies and trends on the fly.

JavaScript,

Python, and PHP, and will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our FX and

crypto trading platform. This role requires a strong focus on both development and cybersecurity

to ensure the platform's robustness against associated risks. The candidate must also possess

knowledge or experience in financial markets, particularly FX and cryptocurrency markets.

This is what you need to land an interview:

• You have 5-7 years’ experience in software development, with a focus on JavaScript, Python, and PHP
• Experience with trading platforms and financial systems will serve you well – even if you’re involved in Crypto and Trading part time
• Strong understanding of system design and architecture
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and risk management
• Understanding of FX and cryptocurrency markets, including market data analysis and trading strategies.
• By nature, you have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• A team player with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar; we are looking for a strong background in computer science, cryptography, or mathematics which is essential for developing and implementing blockchain technology
