Located in the bustling heart of Johannesburg’s CBD, Asisebenze Art Atelier is a thriving hub for local artists and art lovers alike. Housed on Joubert Street, this creative space champions emerging and established talent through exhibitions, workshops, and vibrant community events throughout the year.
On 3 November, Asisebenze opens its doors from 10am-5pm for a special Open Studio Day, where visitors can meet 15 resident artists, explore diverse artwork, and enjoy family-friendly activities.
With raffles for original pieces, food stalls, and an art area for kids, this free-entry event invites Jozi’s community to celebrate art and creativity together. Safe, off-street parking is available at 76 Joubert Street.
Visitors can enjoy a welcoming space that has quickly become a key destination in Jozi’s cultural scene.
Join art lovers and collectors as they roam the six floors of artist studios that feature contemporary African artists, print makers, visual artists and sculptors.
