Marketing & Media Africa

Until we meet again...

It is with a sad heart that I write my last ed's column today as I bid this fabulous company, Bizcommunity.com, and all our readers farewell.

I have always had the dratted travel bug (which cannot be cured with any vaccination unfortunately), and so, when the opportunity arrived to leave on a jet-plane to Northern Italy for a few months, I simply couldn't decline. As the Arab proverb goes: "He who lives sees much. He who travels sees more." And I really do want to see more...

It has been such a privilege to work here, learn here and play here and I am going to miss you all tons!

You will still however be able to get all your Marketing & Media Africa B2B news right here, every week.

Marketing & Media Africa press releases, content partnerships queries and other related communication can be sent to africanews@bizcommunity.com, and opinion pieces to contributors-africa@bizcommunity.com. Review opportunities and Lifestyle news can be sent to lifestyle@bizcommunity.com. For any other queries, please contact Rod Baker at marketingnews@bizcommunity.com.

News-wise, Leigh Andrews writes about Ole! Media Group making waves in the African marketing industry; and as always, a highlight on Biz Africa, our annual Trends series which is jam-packed with world-class insights from top contributors and industry experts. If you missed the special edition Trends newsletter, you can view it here, or follow the hashtag #BizTrends2015 on Twitter.

Well, that's all from me! I wish you all a wonderful 2015.

Until we meet again, ciao!
Ilse van den Berg, Editor: Marketing & Media Africa (ilse_vdberg) / (@Biz_Africa)
