Another AfricaCom and gone...The 17th AfricaCom has come and gone, and delegates were once again treated to a plethora of keynotes, sessions, exhibition stands and networking opportunities on all things digital technology, ICT, telecommunications and media across Africa. A big congratulations to all the AfricaCom Awards 2014 winners as well! If you missed it, find out who they are here. In other news over the past week, the last leg of the South Africa Incorporated research project will take place in Ghana, when Brand South Africa research manager Petrus de Kock heads to Accra. The project studies how other African nations perceive South Africa. Louise Marsland reports on Africa's brand opportunities in 2015; and Madelise Grobler reckons you can make your company speak for itself in five simple steps. Last, but not least, make sure you join in on the pro-African, pro-travel social media campaign #BeEbolaSmart, which aims to elevate fears and sensationalism regarding the current Ebola outbreak. That is all from me! Cheers! Ilse van den Berg, Editor: Marketing & Media Africa (@Biz_Africa)P.S.
