Not moving back, but rather moving forward...

Bruce Mubayiwa has been appointed managing partner of Homecoming Revolution. I had a chat with him and company founder and CEO, Angel Jones about Mubayiwa's new role as well as where the company is headed. Jones says that one homecomer summed their return back home up in their quote saying: "I wasn't moving back, I was moving forward." Exciting things are ahead for this organisation with its London Expo taking place next year March. Watch this space...

A harsh media law casts a dark shadow on Kenya as the country prepares to mark its Golden Jubilee on 12 December. Kenya is still lagging behind in tackling some of the challenges it faces as a country and freedom of expression as stipulated in Article 34 of the country's Constitution is under threat.

Danette Breitenbach caught up with Enzo Capobianco, EMEA Market Development manager at Honeywell, who was a speaker at the recent World Retail Congress. She asked him about some of the key trends we will be seeing in retail soon.

Finally, if you haven't yet submitted your tribute to Nelson Mandela, we have a beautiful tribute page celebrating Madiba's legacy where you can leave your comments.

Have a great week!

Cheers!
