Silly Season is upon us!

The festive season is upon us and Ferdie Bester reminds us that now is not the time to let your mobile ads go on holiday too. He suggests you get your mobile ad campaigns ready for December and gives some helpful advice on how to keep your customers happy during the holidays.

Keeping on the topic of mobile, Michael Fletcher explained recently why Wi-Fi is a viable solution for better customer relationships. He says that in today's 'mobile generation' customers don't want to spend extended periods of time running errands and are therefore demanding 'easier' interactions with their service providers. In fact, if possible, customers would rather interact with their service provider of choice online, than stand in queues for hours.

Some exciting news for Ghana and Nigeria is that the Edcon group, the unlisted owner of clothing chains Edgars and Jet‚ will be expanding into these markets next year.

If you missed last week's Biz Takeouts show, you can now listen to the podcast to find out more about alternative funding solutions for SMME companies.

Have a good week!

Cheers!
