Marketing & Media Africa

Hello Movember!

Well, November has arrived and many moustaches have said goodbye to their owners' familiar faces in support of Movember, a prostate cancer awareness campaign. Christmas decorations are springing up at the speed of lightning and we are quickly reminded that 2013 is on its back. But don't get into your holiday mode too soon - there is still lots more time to make sure you end this year on a good, successful note...

It's been a while since the last Aegis Media Thought Leadership Digibate, but finally, the 11th Digibate is set for this week Thursday, 7 November. The topic, why marketers need to future proof Africa, is one very relevant for all businesses across Africa. How many of us in the industry actually know what sustainability or future proofing is? Make sure you tune in at 10am via Biz Radio.

After three regional rounds in West, East and Southern Africa to applaud the pioneering men and women who had an invaluable impact in shaping the continent's business landscape in 2013, the Johnnie Walker Blue Label CNBC Africa All Africa Business Leaders Awards (AABLA) grand finale ceremony will be taking place this Friday, 8 November 2013. Good luck to all the finalists, and hats off to you for making it to the finals!

Have a great week!

Cheers!
Ilse van den Berg, Editor: Marketing & Media Africa (@Biz_Africa)
