Catch the content wave

Content is currently the word on everybody's lips, with everyone from the existing media to brand owners and individuals being encouraged to become content providers. So if you've if you've been wondering what, when and how to send your content (contributor pieces, general news and press releases) to Bizcommunity, especially now that we're ahead of the curve with more content channels and corresponding newsletters, wonder no further. Have a look at our guide, "How to contribute to Bizcommunity, from op-ed pieces to news" and all should become clearer.

We cannot publish everything we receive as we give priority to exclusive news, breaking news, opinion, thought leadership, case studies, etc., but do not be discouraged, this is an open invitation for you to get your word out there.

Bizcommunity offers a platform that allow companies, media and brand owners to release business content via their own dedicated publishing platform - aka Biz Press Office - using our site. Basically it's an easy-to-maintain website from which to publish company news to targeted business communities. Find out more about setting up a Press Office.

In news this week, entries for the 2013 CNN MultiChoice African Journalist Awards are now open. Journalists have until 17 April 2013 to send in their completed entry forms and supporting material. The battle of the smartphones will once again come into play, following the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S4 last week. Young African entrepreneurs are wanted to enter to win the Anzisha Prize. The prize rewards young African entrepreneurs who are making a difference by transforming their communities.

Have a great week!
