As Travel & Leisure Co-ordinator for Independent Newspapers for the better part of a decade, I was not merely a touring journalist, but liaised with owners/managers/PRO's/Agents of products, brands, experiences and destinations in a Marketing capacity for both them and Independent Newspapers.

I publicise music gigs and tours on behalf of Concerts SA-http://www.concertssa.co.za/- plus a few other odd sods- liaising with all forms of media inside South Africa and in all SADC countries.

My media background is primarily in radio broadcasting, film and publicity.
• Scenic artist for features, commercials and theatre.
• Presenter for Capital Radio 604, P4 Radio 99.5fm and community radio stations.
• National Co-ordinator for MACE (Marketing, Advancement and Communication in Education).
• MC/ promoter for corporate and public functions.
• Producer, script and proposal writer, voice-over artist.
• I negotiated prizes linked to travel reviews/ features that I wrote, which appeared weekly in Independent Media print titles and online.
