Nonhle Chamane to head Action 3D's new artist management division

Action 3D have expanded their service offering to include an in-house performance artist management division, specialising in African and jazz music.

The new division will be headed by Nonhle Chamane. Well respected in the entertainment industry, this dynamic young woman brings with her a portfolio of some of this country’s most talented musicians, including Allen Kwela, Bongani Tembe, Linda Bukhosini, Shaluzamax and Louis Mhlanga, to name but a few.

“More and more of the events we stage require good quality, reliable local talent,” says Michelle du Preez, manager at Action 3D. “With Chamane on board we are now able to manage the artists in-house, offering a large portfolio of top musicians to both our clients and any other interested agencies. This division is already in the process of developing its own independent festivals and concerts, where we will conceptualise the events and supply the musicians.”

Chamane knows the South African music industry inside out, having previously run her own artist management company. Her past experience also includes theatre and production management.
