More great talent heads to BBDO Cape Town
1. Stephanie Safari joins BBDO Cape Town as strategic planning director. She is a South African talent with 11 years of London experience at arguably the top three London agencies. Her last position was a planning director at AMV BBDO. Stephanie has been tasked with further developing the strong strategic planning ethos at BBDO Cape Town.
2. Bridget de Gersigny joins as a strategic planner. Bridget has loads of energy and experience to bring to the planning task. In addition to holding a BA from UCT she has postgraduate qualifications from the Red & Yellow School and the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK).
3. Warren van Rensburg is an award-winning copywriter with his latest laurels from Loerie 2006, who has honed his linguistic skills at some of South Africa's top agencies.
4. Trivesh Vassen has also been appointed as a copywriter. After gaining a BA in film, media and visual studies at UCT and a copywriting diploma at the Red & Yellow School, Trivesh worked at a local Cape Town agency where he achieved Loerie success before joining BBDO Cape Town.
6. Johan de Bruyn has been appointed as a below-the-line designer. Johan has more than a decade of local and international experience and will be responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of design output.
7. Melissa Baird joins BBDO Cape Town as account director. In addition to a BA Honours and an IMM Diploma in Marketing, Melissa's 13 years of local and international work experience in all facets of marketing communications will ensure her expert client service contribution.
8. Eve Hayes has joined BBDO Cape Town as account director. Eve, who has worked across design, advertising, online and promotion disciplines in her advertising career recently took a year's break but has returned in search of the industry's energy and fast pace.
9. David Ashwell has joined the agency as production manager. David accumulated his vast print production expertise at repro houses and printers as well as at small and medium sized ad agencies.
10. Nisreen Haroun is an art buyer who consulted to BBDO Cape Town and is now joining the agency in a full-time capacity. Nisreen gained buyer experience in some of South Africa's most prestigious firms and has international marketing communication experience.
11. Adrian Petersen joins BBDO Cape Town as account director. His depth and breadth of experience in agencies and FMCG both locally and internationally as well as his MBA (UK) qualification places Adrian in an excellent position to professionally manage client accounts.
12. Kathy Crabbe has been appointed account manager. Kathy holds a diploma in marketing and advertising from the Red & Yellow School and has several years of experience in advertising account management.
