Greymatter appoints Elene Visser as graphic designer
Elene Visser has joined the specialist direct marketing agency Greymatter's Cape Town office as graphic designer.
Visser graduated top of her class in graphic design at Central University of Technology, Free State, and was a finalist in the Student Goldpack Awards for a packaging design project; also representing her alma mater at the Design Achievers Awards.
She starter her career at Syndicate Graphics in Johannesburg, designing packaging and point of sale material for Nestlé Purina and Tiger Brands amongst others.
Visser joined the creative team at Greymatter after relocating to Cape Town, and will be doing design work for the agency's clients, which include the Absa Group, Virgin Life Care, Momentum, Oxford University Press and Doctor 24-7.
Greymatter is a tightly-knit team of communication specialists, developing customised direct marketing for clients. Founded by managing director Craig Townsend in 2004, the company operates nationally with offices in Cape Town and Johannesburg. Greymatter entered the Loerie Awards for the first time this year, making it to the final round in two categories: Brand Identity & Collateral Design (Direct & Promotional Mail) and Direct & Promotional Print (Flat media), both for Absa.
