Building Brewster's national client service team

Yasmeen Engelbrecht has joined Marcus Brewster Publicity's Johannesburg office in the executive level position of Client Service Director. Formerly the Acting Information and Liaison Director at Gauteng Provincial Legislature, Engelbrecht's portfolio included principal accountability for Public Relations, Internal and External Event Management, Media Relations & Communications, Strategy, Protocol Management, Marketing Strategy, Publications and Internet/Intranet. Prior to that, Engelbrecht was PR Manager for SABC soapie Generations, Promotions Manager at Fairlady and a DJ on East Coast Radio.

Additionally, Craig Dummett has joined the Cape Town office of Marcus Brewster Publicity as Client Service Associate. Dummett's previous consultancy experience saw him working across various financial, B2B, FMCG, NGO, property and premium brands. In terms of eventing experience, Dummett was an Eventing Producer at dcubed in Johannesburg handling client liaison on various accounts including Nokia, SABC, Santam and Sun International.

Marcus Brewster Publicity was named runner-up as PR Agency of the Year at last month's FinWeek AdReview Awards. They also earned a Silver Prism award earlier this year, the highest accolade for a PR consultancy in South Africa, for its campaign executed for Emerald Casino Resort.
