Lydia Mason joins Unplugged
Heavyweight producer Lydia Mason has taken up arms as Executive Producer with Unplugged Architects (Pty) Ltd with immediate effect.
A business graduate of the Havering Technical College in London, Lydia worked in London as a television producer under the auspices of creative guru, Trevor Beattie and is no stranger to meritorious production, having garnered several international awards - amongst others at the New York and Irish Film Festivals, a Cannes Lion and a Clio.
Since arriving in South Africa in 1991, Lydia has enjoyed a longstanding association with Sue and Rick Melvill. Along with them she has produced large scale productions with them over the past ten years including the launch of Anglo Gold, industrial theatre road show for Vodacom, the international Standard Bank Values road show, the launch of Volkswagen Touareg, Nedbank Corporate, Standard Bank's Crossing the Line and, most recently, The Loerie Awards 2005 as Creative Producer.
In addition to producing corporate communication events she has also worked on feature films including A Good Man In Africa starring Sean Connery and friends, directed by Elaine Procter.
