Grey flexes its creative muscle with top new creative appointment
Grey Worldwide South Africa's creative offering is newly appointed executive creative director, Mike Barnwell. He joined the agency on July 1st, following the departure of Alan Irvin who will be pursuing a career in film production.
Barnwell is a winner of innumerable prestigious local and international awards, including a Loerie Grand Prix.
Barnwell, who has been a judge at the Creative Circle several times over the years as well as at the Loerie awards (once as chairman of the craft category), started out in 1994 at Net#work BBDO, where he worked with Mike Schalit. He joined FCB SA five years later prior to his appointment at Grey where he worked as a creative director for the past three years.
