New leadership for Text 100 in Africa
As part of its local business expansion drive Text 100 International, the global technology public relations consultancy, has appointed Kim Polley as the general manager for the company's African operations.
Based at the regional headquarters in Johannesburg, Polley will be responsible for all strategic, operational and client-related management. She brings extensive global and pan-African strategic marketing communications experience to the agency. And she will use her account leadership, communications strategy and creative campaign generation knowledge to help expand Text 100's consultancy significantly.
Prior to joining Text 100, Polley spent five years with Brodeur Worldwide, the renowned technology-focused PR consultancy, in London. Working with global brands such as 3Com, Corning, Global mobile Suppliers Association (GSA), Hyperion Software, IBM, Interoute, Philips Electronics, and Strategix Polley has significant best practice experience in the high-tech and technology space. Polley has also held a number of PR roles in both UK based and South African companies during her career.
"We are a global agency with local roots. This delivers the best of both worlds not only for our clients but for the development of our staff as well" says Polley. "As a South African who has "been away from home" for seven years, I am excited about working for Text 100, in terms of the company's global brand resonance and South African outlook."
