New Media forge ahead with dynamo duo
New Media (NMP) announces two key staff appointments this week, reaffirming their growth within the local publishing arena.
Cape based Martha Dimitriou has been appointed National Advertising Director and Lucinda Fletcher, based in the Johannesburg office, has been appointed National Advertising Manager for all NMP titles.
Dimitriou brings a wealth of experience in sales and management to her new position having worked in consumer print media in London for five years, including two years at Dennis Publishing as Advertising Manager for top UK men's magazine Maxim. Prior to Dimitriou's recent appointment, she worked for NMP as a freelance consultant, fine-tuning their sales department.
Fletcher, previously National Advertising Manager for NMP's Eat In and Eat Out magazines, has been with the company since 1998 and in that time successfully launched and managed several titles. Her ability to establish and maintain valuable relationships with her clients has enabled her to grow the publications into very profitable brands, not only through advertising but also large sponsorship deals and strategic partnerships. Fletcher's appointment is the beginning of broader NMP representation in Johannesburg.
