David Brown appointed managing partner of Growth Partners
David Brown, a co-founder of sales effectiveness consultancy Growth Partners, has been appointed managing partner.
Growth Partners specialises in maximising sales and marketing effectiveness in companies by ensuring clients have a winning go-to-market strategy, that they have right talent, and then providing training, coaching and implementation support. Brown's particular interest is in strategy development and deployment, and general organisational change through people.
Brown, who qualified as a building science engineer before obtaining a master's degree in business leadership (MBL), began consulting in 1987. He worked for Quality Management Associates, a South African-based joint venture with the American company Philip Crosby, which specialises in organisational change and development and quality management.
The business was sold to Proudfoot Consulting in 1992 and Brown went to Proudfoot Consulting SA as vice-president. In 1997 he co-founded Growth Partners with director Peter Gilbert, who remains in charge of sales and marketing.
As managing partner, Brown will oversee the day-to say running of the business and is in charge of finance.
