Celebrating summer in the streets of Sandton
Running until 18 November 2006, the Open Street Sessions is a homegrown feast of contemporary mime, music, clowning and dance. This initiative of the Sandton Central Management District aims to get pedestrians, workers and shoppers to take a break from the rat race and enjoy a touch of fun in the open air. The sessions involve a variety of live performances during lunchtime on weekdays, at venues around central Sandton such as the 5th Street taxi rank, Village Walk, Nelson Mandela Square, M&A, Maraschino's on Maude Street and Burgers Walk.
