The City of Cape Town is soon to finalise maps plotting areas, such as scenic routes, considered unacceptable for outdoor advertising such as posters and estate agent signs. Says Councillor Carol Beerwinkel, "A sub-committee of the planning and environment portfolio committee was appointed and will look into ways of better control of the advertising clutter in the city."
