IOM takes empowerment partner

Independent Outdoor Media (Pty) Ltd, Cape Town's largest privately owned billboard company, is now the latest media company to form a strategic empowerment alliance. Managing Director Brent Dyssell started discussions in 2002 with fellow Capetonian businessman and recent winner of Vodacom's 2003 Entrepreneur of Year award, Bongani Nkanyuza, which culminated in the formation of Amatuba Independent Outdoor Media (Pty) Ltd. Amatuba means "opportunity" in Xhosa.
