TVAfrica secures free-to-air rights for World Cup
The continent's biggest free-to-air television network, TVAfrica, has secured exclusive broadcasting rights for the 2002 World Cup Finals in Korea and Japan for sub-Saharan Africa.
TVAfrica chief operating officer Quentin Green said the network would feed affiliate state broadcasters in over 46 sub-Saharan Africa for free, with one exception - local free-to-air broadcaster e.tv has exclusive rights in South Africa.
