Govt looks at private partnership to help Bop
Business Day reports that government could enter into a private partnership to run the Bophuthatswana Broadcasting Corporation (Bop). Andile Nkuhlu, Public Enterprise department chief director, says possible options are a strategic management partner, an equity partner, a joint venture deal or the formation of an alliance. Bop's TV channel and two radio stations are currently being managed by the SABC and are heavily reliant on a R60m annual government subsidy.
